My hometown is Matamata. How fortunate am I to have spent most of my life living in the beautiful Waikato, where in my free time I enjoy being in the outdoors and exploring the adventures that the region offers?
So why Property Management? I spent five years professional nannying and loved looking after people’s children and subsequently the homes I worked in. My success in this role I put down to being organized. The children responded well to a set routine and the parents appreciated having a well-ordered and well-maintained home to come into each night.
However, time for a change! I did quite a bit of door knocking, and Sheridan Real Estate afforded me the opportunity to explore Property Management to the point where I am currently completing Property Management papers through Skills New Zealand. How cool is that? Door knocking was a little soul destroying but with grit and determination, it paid off!
Every day is different and presents new challenges and opportunities. Not always fun but it is exciting! It is diverse! I get to put my energy, organizational skills, enthusiasm, and passion into developing relationships and providing assistance to landlords and tenants.
So, not only do I feel privileged to live and play in a great region, I also have the added bonus of facilitating positive rental experiences for both landlords and tenants alike.
